Alan Burns
Starting relatively early in Information Technology with a diploma
from the Glasgow College of Technology, Alan Burns has been part
of the development of products and services that run on computers
that take up entire rooms, to computers that fit in a pocket. In
the 30 years of experience Alan has accrued, he has been a computer
operator and the project lead on multi-million dollar projects,
with experience in programming, design and analysis, with a particular
expertise in call centre foundation systems, including Voice IVR,
CTI, Web Self Serve, and Outbound Contact Management. Alan has an
established reputation for facilitating strong and accurate communication
between the needs of the business side, and realities of IT development.
Prior to founding SOLSYS, Alan worked for a number of years in
a Senior Project Management Consulting position for various Telecommunications
companies.

Robert Stephens
With 30 years experience in Information Technology, Bob is an effective
business leader, with education in Accounting and Finance. He has
a consistent track record leading the technological activities while
being an integral part of the senior management teams. As an innovative
leader who can blueprint Information Technology while identifying
issues to manage IT cost effectively, Bob is a technology leader
balancing architecture with design and innovation with risk.
Bobs experience includes Strategic Planning, Application
and Data Architectures, Business Intelligence, IT Governance and
Strategic Partnership Alliances.
Business acumen includes 13 years in Telecommunications interfacing
with Retail, 7 years in Banking and Securities, 2 years in Insurance
and 9 years in Government.
Bob can provide leadership in Organizational and Process Execution,
e-Business Strategy, Quality Data and Information Management and

With 15 years of broad experience in IT management and technical
roles, along with a Bachelor of Science program from the University
of Alberta and several industry leading vendor certifications (including
M.C.S.E and C.N.E), Steve Manuel has a lot to offer. Working in
organizations large and small, Steve has gained key skills in strategy,
implementation, and management of middleware in conjunction with
business transformation and dynamic business models. Using these
talents, Steve has overseen the entire life cycle of numerous products
from conception to post implementation using a system development
lifecycle methodology customized to client needs.
Most recently, Steve Manuel worked successfully in bridged technical
and management roles for Telus Communications before founding SOLSYS.
